Release Test Information

Note that the sanity and regression tests produces ARC-files, and not WARC-files.  ARC is still the default format in 4.0

The WARC capability of NetarchiveSuite is tested as part of the tests of new functionality, much of which has to do with the WARC format.

If you want to test WARC capability be sure to use a Heritrix template that contains the WARCWriterProcessor.

The attached orderxml has the required format. When installing in the Netarkivet test-environment, the script "all_test_warc.sh"

will install a system that produces metadata warcfiles and asks Heritrix to use its WARCWriterProcessor instead of the ARCWriterProcessor.

You still has to replace the default_orderxml with the attached template.

Sanity test

Run right after code freeze to verify the system integrity prior to the main release test.
