Agenda for the joint BNF, ONB, SB and KB NetarchiveSuite tele-conference August the 16th 2011, 13:00-14:00.

Netarchivesuite workshop at BNF in December

  • Agenda skeleton can be found here: 2011-December workshop at BnF. Everybody is invited to start adding content to the workshop wiki.
  • Has BnF found a time?.

    Nicolas will ask Sara whether a more precise time has been found

IIPC sponsored WARC work 

  • IIPC has accepted to sponsor 1 years work of WARC development for JHove module and NetarchiveSuite.
  • Job interviews will take place in august (september as backup).

3.17.0 status

  • Status.
  • 3.17.0 release test.
  • Remember to log time, so we can track remaining estimates.

    Code freeze should be announced later today after Søren has fixed the last critical unit test (causing a DB deadlock)

Iteration 49 (3.18 Production release) (Mikis)

  • The plan.
    Status.
  • Load.

    The iteration is open for adding issues which needs to by solved before the 3.18 production release. The development phase will be less than a month and the included issues should therefore be bugfixes.

    BnF will not be upgrading the production system this year and will therefore not use neither 3.17 or 3.18.

    Nicolas and Andreas will not have time to work on 3.18.

Status of the production sites

  • Netarchive.dk (Tue): Please insert short summary here prior to meeting.

    Broad crawl (3.14.3 based)) finished in july with 24 TB data harvested. Next broad crawl (3.16.1 based) is planned to start tomorrow.

  • BNF (Nicolas)

    Preparing for 2011 broad crawl based on NAS 3.16.1

  • ONB (Michaela):

    Currently running domain crawl stage 1, started 1st of August with NAS 3.16.1 on 8 machines and 20 low harvest instances.
