JHove2 modules - running

Describes how to run JHove2 with the GZipModule, ArcModule and WarcModule.

Download and unzip the JHove2 zip from the download site.

unzip jhove2-2.0.0.zip

Before you can run JHove2, you must review and modify the settings described in the configuration page.

The changes described in the changes page are included in the distribution archive.

Navigate to the jhove2 folder:

cd jhove2-2.0.0

On Windows you can issues the following command:

jhove2.cmd <path>

On Linux its the following command:

jhove2.sh <path>

<path> can be either a file or a folder.

The output is dumped in the console.
