Status of the production sites

Netarkivet

July was holyday time for most of the Danish webarchiving team, so Netarchive was mostly business as usually in a smaller scale.

Beyond this we went on with the implementation of the Web Danica project (finding Danish content outside .dk) and worked on setting up a definition for podcasts, that is to say capturing mp3 files from rss-feeds with xml-extraction. This works, but sometimes it is triggy to find the right url’s.

Andreas is currently on holiday.

We have migrated the complete webarchive from the external storage at the Austrian Federal Computing Center to internal storage at ONB. This will significantly lower the costs and we hope for a higher storage budget in 2018.

Our broad crawl will start mid-August with NAS 5.3.

In September we will start preparations for parliamentary elections in October.
