We need broad API support from common languages - especially Java and C

The bit repository architecture is required to be as platform and implementation language agnostic as possible. Clients and pillars should be implemented in whatever technology that may be found fit for the purpose at the time of implementation. API's for common languages and /or platforms - especially java and .net - should therefore be readily available for the chosen messaging system.
