Milestone
A milestone in the Bitmagasin project define the top level breakdown of the project into phases with a specific end date.
The scope of milestones are defined by a number of general goals (Epics) for what should be finished at the milestone. Milestones are normally used to define the longterm plan for the project. See the Milestone plan for the Bitmagasins concrete milestone breakdown.
The epics are typically broken down into more operational sub tasks with a clearly defined scope and finish criterias. Subtasks are typically implemented during iterations.
